Chem Eng Fellowship (CEF) is a departmental fellowship that is available for MASc and PhD students in ChemE. All students within their standard funding period are considered for the CEF. There is no application required for this fellowship.
Students must maintain a B+ average in their coursework in order to be eligible for this fellowship. Students enrolled in their third year of MASc, or their fifth/sixth year of PhD studies (i.e., outside the standard funding period) are not eligible to receive CEF.
MASc and PhD students receive a summary of their financial support for the year, normally in mid-September. Ultimately, graduate students are responsible for ensuring that their own total compensation meets the minimum funding package levels, and any stipend issues should first be discussed with the student’s supervisor.
CEF is administered by the Graduate Administrator in the Student Services Office (WB216A).
