Students may transfer from the part-time to full-time program (or vice versa) by the end of the first session (4 months) of study. Transfers from or into the extended full-time MEng program are not permitted.
Transfer from the MEng program to the MASc program is considered on a case-by-case basis, typically when 5 or fewer half-credit (H) courses have been completed in the MEng program. Transfers from the MEng program to the PhD program are only considered in exceptional circumstances.
