The minimum admission requirements for each program are outlined below. Please note that meeting minimum requirements does not guarantee that an offer of admission will be granted.
M.Eng. Program
The minimum admission requirement is a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) or Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Engineering with at least a mid B in each of the last two years of study.
M.A.Sc. Program
A 4-year degree (or equivalent) in engineering or the physical/chemical/biological sciences with a B+ average (or equivalent) in each of the final two years.
Ph.D. Program
B+ in each of the last 2 years in the undergraduate program, and successful completion of a research Master's degree with an average of at least B+.

English Facility Test Requirement
Candidates who have completed their studies in any of these countries are not required to complete an English Facility Test (EFT) as part of their application.
Candidates who have completed their studies in a country not on the above list will be required to submit an official English Facility Test score, even if the language of instruction and examination was English.
Tests recognized by the university and their acceptable minimum scores may be found on the School of Graduate Studies website.
