Plant Design Final Presenations
The Department of Chemical Enginering will be hosting this year's Plant Design Presentations on November 24, 29 and December 1. If you're an alumni from the Department and happen to be in the area, consider dropping by for any presentation that interests you:
Thursday, November 24:
9 am to 12 pm - Multistep Batch Organic Synthesis Plant
1 pm to 4 pm - Super Bleach Production Facility
Tuesday, November 29:
9 am to 12 pm - Design of Propane Butane Salt Cavern Storage, Drying, Regeneration and Shipping Facility
1 pm to 4 pm - Nickel Recovery from Converter Slags
Thursday, December 1:
9 am to 12 pm - Avalon Rare Earth Metals Extraction
1 pm to 4 pm - Treatment of Athabasca Oil Sand Tailing Pond Water
All presentations will take place in room 202 of the Galbraith Building located at 35 St. George Street (just north of College Street).
