CSChE Recognizes Alumna with Process Safety Management Award

Della Wong (ChemE 8T4) is the 2011 recipient of the Canadian Society for Chemical Engineering's Process Safety Management Award. This Award honours an individual who has made outstanding contributions in Canada to process safety and loss management.

Wong has over twenty five years of experience in process risk management. As a process safety engineer, she has assisted oil, gas and petrochemical companies in developing and implementing process safety management systems and technology. In addition, she has been active in loss prevention engineering design standards, auditing, operational integrity, risk analysis and incident investigations.
