Two ChemE Profs Receive Significant CFI Funding

Forty-four (44) U of T projects have been awarded a total of $12.1 million from the Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI) for infrastructure that will advance research in everything from water treatment to cancer. Two of these projects are being led by faculty members from our department.

Assitant Professor Arthur Chan‘s funding will be applied to “Laboratory for Atmospheric Organics,” and Associate Professor Yuri Lawryshyn‘s funding will be direct towards “Pilot scale water flow loop for testing water treatment systems and the validation of models.”
