Undergraduate Thesis

Beginning in January/February of third year, students are encouraged to start thinking about a fourth-year thesis. Check the department's website for links to individual academic staff members to obtain information on potential research projects.

Students anticipating applying to graduate studies in our department are strongly advised to enrol in the thesis course.

When you find a supervisor, please have the supervisor complete and sign the Thesis Composition form and submit it to the Undergraduate Office by the end of April. The form and the complete thesis manual are available on Portal in the Chemical Engineering Undergraduate Community's Undergraduate Community Documents .

Students wishing to obtain an engineering minor with thesis as an elective must also have the separate Thesis Minor Form completed and signed by the Vice Dean, Cross-Disciplinary Studies.
